I have provided an interview which was published in Stella magazine, the Sunday Telegraph on 13/12/09.
Below is the original interview. I find the online/ paper version slightly distorted.
What exactly does being a dominatrix entail?
Being open-minded and adventurous enough to fulfill various fantasies while remaining non judgmental. It also involves various (ad hoc) admin duties, customer service etc.
How many clients do you see in a typical week and what are your fees?
On average, I see 1 person a day, 7 days a week unless I am away – typically a week each month.
I charge £150/hr in my new location but less for receiving a foot massage 🙂
What type of person do you see, is there a typical client?
I don’t want to reinforce any stereotypes. I see people from all walks of life. I see married, single, divorced; all ages and races, backgrounds. However, MY foot fetishists are usually younger types (20ties/30ties) and have Asian/middle eastern background. Clients who enjoy general domination tend to be professionally successful – usually in charge at work who seek power exchange and someone to take orders from, or, in their words – to serve a beautiful dominant young woman and be humiliated by her.
Every dominatrix appeals to different clients the way she advertises herself – my most popular activities are foot worship, foot domination, role play and humiliation.
You look very stylish in your photos. Is the fashion element very important to you? How do you put your look together?
What is important to me is my comfort. You would not see me in PVC or latex. I prefer the dominant girlfriend/nasty wife/ secretary scenarios and therefore I would wear my everyday clothes for sessions – smart/ casual/office. Occasionally, I wear leather outfits, especially in fetish clubs.
What are the highs and lows of the job?
The negative aspect is that there are always timewasters who have no intention of meeting up but feel the urge to contact me. This includes guys asking for freebies and offering themselves as personal slaves. Also, being occasionally mistaken for a sex worker is irksome, but fortunately happens rarely.
The best aspect is being myself during the sessions and setting my own rules and boundaries. It is refreshing to be rude, explicit, humiliating and laugh at slaves/subs/clients’s “predicament”!
Getting a foot massage on a regular basis is addictive and occasionally having my house cleaned as part of a session is always appreciated. (Especially if the particular person reveals that he would never clean for his wife!) After all, it is all about pleasing the mistress. 🙂
Where do you draw the line in terms of being violent?
Violence has negative connotations. I never get violent in my sessions, all activities are consensual. I reject clients who ask for extreme asphyxia (breath control) or other dangerous activities. On the other side, I can go really wild when administering corporal punishment but I always respect limits. Most of my clients seek psychological release, not pain – inducing activities.
What personal satisfaction do you get from the job?
Being in a position to dominate a boss: It is all about power exchange. Enslaving a man who has high social/professional ranking is so empowering.
Is there anything in your past which makes you think led you to this type of work?
I’ve always been intrigued about gender issues, sexuality, sexual desires, fantasies, role play.
However, it was my personal desire to enjoy an adventurous lifestyle, being my own boss, work flexible hours and combine business with pleasure. I always hated routine – I can’t believe that not long ago, I used to have a decent job in the office working 9 – 5!
Has your work given you an insight into the human condition!?
Oh yes. I don’t cease to be amazed at what my clients confess to sometimes! Not all guys are so “simple” in pursuit of sexual pleasure as vanilla people tend to think. Many have very complex sophisticated fantasies that I fulfill.
How did you get into your work?
I’ve been always intrigued by non mainstream sexual practices. Some years ago, I met a guy, a Jordanian medical doctor, who totally freaked me out when he lay down on the floor in my bedroom and started to bite my feet. He seemed to have no interest in anything else. It all seemed pretty weird to me then and I never saw him again after that as the whole situation was really awkward. Back then, I had no idea foot fetish existed. Then, about three years ago, my sister introduced me to a foot fetishist. I was a full time student then and coincidentally, he arranged a session with me the day I left my part time office job after my sister prepared me for what to expect. We sessioned with a lot of foot fetishists since then, expanding our repertoire and introducing BDSM activities as foot fetish tends to go hand in hand with bondage, domination, sadism and masochism (BDSM).
Does your work inform your everyday life or it just a persona you put on?
I don’t really act in my sessions. Ok, maybe to a certain extent, but I don’t do things mechanically, I put so much energy into it. I don’t view Heelena as a different person. She has become part of me and having learned so much from her, I can’t imagine my life without her. She is brave, outspoken, demanding, commanding, feisty, daring, and vulgar. She does whatever would be considered improper and outrageous!
Do you have another “day” job?
This is my day job – apart from being a full time student. I don’t work at night, I need my sleep!
Do you keep your identity secret from friends and family?
It is impossible to keep it secret from friends, most of them know and I take pleasure in entertaining them with my stories. My family doesn’t know the full story – I don’t think my mother would understand or approve!
Are you married and/or do you have children?
Not yet but I’ll have to start working on that soon!
How does your work affect your intimate relationships?
I am more experimental and more open minded as a result, as well as more confident, initiating, demanding and insistent on my pleasure.
How long do you plan to continue with your work?
As long as I am enjoying it. If there is demand, there will be supply.
Do you always work with your sister or just sometimes? Which one of you “led” the other into this work?
My sister has lit the fire inside me. We work together when requested; our sessions are very unique and popular.
You are Czech – did you start your work in the Czech Republic or was it when you came to the UK? Why did you come to the UK?
I left Czech Republic in my late teens having no idea about what the future holds for me. Who would have thought that once a shy girl who was born in a small town in the former Czechoslovakia would become a London Dominatrix?
People are confused as to whether dominatrixes have sex with their clients or not. Please could you clear this issue up?
Real dominatrices never have sex with their clients. At least they never advertise it. I can only speak for myself of course, but I can reveal it is tempting to use the best specimens as sex slaves/objects without the pressure to reciprocate.
There are BDSM escorts who refer to themselves as Mistresses so no wonder people are easily confused.
